‘Westgate Christmas Village’ now open at Westgate Oxford alongside enchanting new decorations scheme
Westgate Oxford has debuted stunning new decorations throughout the centre for 2024, kick-starting the festive season together with the opening of the ‘Westgate Christmas Village’.
The decorations take inspiration from a far-flung festive forest, with an overhead canopy of warm white lights welcoming guests to the centre, continuing through to the Roof Terrace. Chandeliers of paper fold-out Christmas trees cascade through the space, creating a spectacle comprising:
- 260 festoon bulbs
- More than 6000m of light curtains
- 312 paper fold-out trees
Adding to the magic, the Westgate Christmas Village is now open daily from 10am – 8pm in Leiden Square until 5th January 2025.
Guests are invited to ride the ornate vintage carousel, browse personalised Christmas decorations, festive cheeses, and Belgian chocolate kisses, as well as enjoy seasonal refreshments such as German sausage straight from the grill, mini Dutch pancakes, churros, and mulled wine.
