TVR have a long history of serving the local community: established in 1973 at the local hardware store with one van and a minibus on airport runs and driving the Aunt Sally Teams around the Oxfordshire countryside pubs.
In 1985 they expanded with a second depot in Wallingford with 27 vehicles! In 2000 the whole business relocated to the Grain Silo in Kidlington – which is now Oxford Parkway train station. In 2007 they moved to their current location to the north of Kidlington, close to London Oxford Airport (the pilots are frequent customers). Their modern fleet now consists of over 250 vans, cars, minibuses and commercial vehicles. They have built a strong reputation for reliable modern vehicles and great customer service.
TVR welcome all visitors and tourists to their offices from all over the world, their smooth rental service enables a swift and friendly pick up at their offices, a digital vehicle check out and all questions answered about the vehicle from the simple to the technical – always with a smile.
You are able to hire with an overseas licence, with a copy of your valid passport and confirmation of your hotel/accommodation booking. International visitors can enjoy the easy option of renting one of TVR’s cars or minibuses.
TVR are conveniently located on the north side of Kidlington. There are several bus routes which are closely situated to the offices. Oxford Parkway is only 1.5 miles offering frequent trains from Oxford, Bicester Village and London Marylebone.
The daily hire period is from 8.30am to 8.30am the following morning. Your vehicle will be ready for pick up any time from 8.30am. Out of hours key drop are available, park the vehicle, drop the keys and off you go. The vehicle is checked by staff on arrival at the office. This is a convenient service for people with tight schedules and early/late flights.
