Located inside The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton, The Alice is an all-day British brasserie in the heart of historic Oxford led by Executive Chef Chris Godfrey. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, The Alice serves comforting, seasonal dishes with a contemporary twist. Locals and visitors alike are invited to enjoy their Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea, served in The Alice or the Drawing Room. Their menu also features Sunday Roast, Steak and Wine nights, Festive dining, and a two- or three-course set menu.
Illustrator John Broadley created the menu artwork throughout the hotel. Taking inspiration from the celebrated British Cartoonist Osbert Lancaster, an erstwhile resident of the who paid for his keep in paintings, the illustrations bring together the hotel’s rich history, the City of Oxford, and iconography from the story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
