Oxfordshire Artweeks

Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s oldest and largest open studios event, a three week celebration of the visual arts which takes place each May in hundreds of venues across the county.

Explore amazing art in wonderful places across Oxfordshire! And all for free!

With nearly five hundred pop-up art exhibitions, artist open studios and events in interesting places throughout May, and in the run-up to Christmas, you can discover Oxfordshire’s creative talent in painting, sculpture, ceramics, wood, textiles, glass art and more.

For three weeks, a thousand artists and designer-makers throw open doors in every corner of the county and welcome you in – to artists’ studios, homes, galleries and other interesting places including Oxford Colleges, historic manor houses, Cotswold villages and secret gardens by the Thames.

Oxfordshire Artweeks is a nationally-renowned ‘open studios’ event, an opportunity to enjoy the visual arts in a relaxed & friendly way: meet the makers, hear their stories, see their materials and watch them in action. Seize the chance to have a go yourself!

With pottery, printmaking, photography, silversmithing, mosaics, glass art, new media, fashion and furniture and so much more, there’s something for everyone: whether you’re a seasoned arts enthusiast or an interested newcomer, you’ll be inspired, diverted and delighted.

And you can even choose an original work of art to take home!
