The Malthouse Kitchen restaurant
Located in the original Maltings building, which has been restored back to its original look with red brick walls, ironwork and wooden floors, The Malthouse Kitchen guests can enjoy a café style menu featuring freshly prepared local, traditional food over the breakfast and lunch time periods.
The breakfast menu offers light bites including Eggs Benedict, Pancakes and Toast with Hooky Gold Beer Marmalade. For bigger appetites there is the famous and very popular Master Brewers Breakfast – Old Hooky beer sausages, back bacon, free range egg, black pudding, hash brown, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms & toast.
Lunchtime menu offers small and large plates that can be shared as a group or enjoyed by themselves. Sandwiches, Wraps and Baked Potatoes are available alongside Malthouse favourites such as Beer Batter Fish & Chips, Homemade Pies, Ham, Egg & Chips and Vegan Baps & Burgers.
A full range of tea and hand ground coffee is available along with homemade cakes and pastries. There is, of course, a bar, serving the latest range of Hook Norton Brewery ales, lagers, ciders alongside wines, spirits and soft drinks.
To walk off their breakfast or lunch, customers will be able to visit the free brewery museum, browse around the large brewery shop or pop round to the stables and visit the shire horses.
