Explore 130 acres of tranquil British woodland, open wildflower meadows and trees from around the world. The giant redwoods are some of the oldest in the UK, having arrived from California in the late 1850s.
Visit in May to see and smell the stunning drifts of bluebells or meander along the Serpentine Ride and discover a spectrum of dramatic colours whilst rhododendrons and azaleas are in flower. Visit later in the summer to spot orchids in the Wildflower Meadow or wander amongst the vivid reds, oranges and yellows of the Acer Glade in autumn. Visitors may catch a glimpse of deer, hare or red kites gliding overhead. Keep an eye on their website or follow them on Facebook to discover more about special events, such as the Spring and Autumn Fairs and family-friendly craft days.
