Banbury Museum & Gallery is a family-friendly museum at the heart of Banbury’s vibrant canalside.

Explore the town’s origin and history with displays on the Civil War, plush manufacturing, the Victorian market town and costume from the 17th century to the present day.

Visit the Pye Gallery which features an ever-changing programme of temporary exhibitions. The museum has hosted everything from Grayson Perry to Vikings, Turner to Lego. There’s always something new to see.

During the school holiday’s you will find an exciting programme of children’s crafts and activities for young enquiring minds.

Finish your visit by discovering local artists, crafts, and souvenirs in the beautiful museum shop. And sample what’s on offer at the onsite café, Connie’s @ The Museum with their tempting selection of homemade lunches, snacks, cakes and coffee.
