Mary Berry to Switch On Henley’s Christmas Lights at the Christmas Festival and Late Night Shopping Event

Henley Town Council is delighted to announce that Mary Berry, celebrated chef, author, and television personality, will be switching on Henley’s Christmas lights during this year’s annual Christmas Festival and Late Night Shopping event on Friday, 29th November. The festive lights will illuminate the town at precisely 7:00 pm.

The Henley Christmas Festival has long been a beloved tradition, bringing the community together to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The evening will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and unique shopping opportunities with extended hours. Local shops and vendors will be open late, offering festive gifts, holiday treats, and plenty of mulled wine to keep everyone warm and merry!

This year’s event is made possible thanks to the generosity of our headline sponsors: Invesco, Medlocks, Peppard Building Supplies, Wilkins, Zzoomm, Blanchard Law, and The Argyll. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors and supporters and their commitment to our community. With their help, we’re able to create an event that brings Henley’s festive spirit to life for residents and visitors alike.

As always, a highlight of the evening will be the town’s Christmas Tree, and we’re especially excited to see what our dedicated partners, Party Planners, have in store for this year’s decorations. With their flair and creativity, we anticipate a magical display.

Don’t miss this enchanting evening filled with music, holiday shopping, and festive fun for the entire family. Join us for a Berry merry evening as Mary Berry lights up Henley this Christmas – it’s going to be the icing on the cake!
