Full-Time Senior Shop Supervisor

Salary c. £22,681 – £25,138 pa dependent on experience

Experienced, friendly, reliable and motivated person with excellent customer service and retail skills is required to join a small team in the Visitor Centre, located in the beautiful meadows of Christ Church.  Responsible for deputising in the Manager’s absence and supervising the day-to-day operations of the shop, you will also be required to assist with general enquiries for the Visitor Centre.  Ideally, you will have an excellent eye for presentation and be confident in the use of IT.  A willingness to work flexibly, according to a roster, including weekends and occasional evenings, to suit the needs of the college, is pre-requisite.  The post is subject to all necessary pre-employment checks.  40 hours per week.

Part-Time Shop Assistant

A friendly, self-motivated individual with excellent customer services skills and retail experience is required to join a small team in the Visitor Centre, located in the beautiful meadows of Christ Church.  Responsibilities include unpacking and checking deliveries, pricing and merchandising, cashing up tills, maintaining sales records, dealing with customers and assisting with ticket sales and issuing of multimedia guides.  The post is subject to all necessary pre-employment checks. 14 hours per week, working Friday, 9.30am to 5.00pm and Saturday, 9.30am to 5.00pm.  £12.49 per hour.

Full-Time Chef de Partie

University Scale Grade 4 £30,487 pa

Christ Church’s kitchen produces a variety of meals and styles, from fine dining High Tables, banquets, buffets, and conferences to wholesome student meals. Your experience could be from a College, School, Hotel or Restaurant. If you are looking for a better work/homelife balance but still want to produce the best meals possible with a brigade of 18 chefs, your application will be welcomed by Christ Church. Personal development, progression and training is offered and encouraged.  The college works mostly straight shifts with occasional splits, with the Executive Chef giving a flexible approach to the rota. The Chef de Partie work 40 hours per week with alternate weekends off. 5 weeks annual holiday a year plus Bank Holidays, including time off at Easter and Christmas.

Casual Bar Assistant

An experienced, reliable and friendly individual is required to join a busy, small team running a considerable wine cellar and providing bar and function services to college members, guests, students and visitors.  Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to suit the needs of the College.  £12.49 per hour.
