IT & AV Officer

The University of Oxford Gardens & Museums are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven IT & AV Officer to join the Gardens & Museums IT Team.

About the role
Gardens & Museums IT are a customer-orientated IT Team that provides IT and AV services, systems and solutions across the University’s four Museums, the Botanic Garden & Arboretum and the GLAM Divisional Office.

The IT & AV Officer will be considered as the subject matter expert for Audio Visual Systems & Services within the Gardens & Museums IT Team and will take responsibility or be actively engaged in AV-related initiatives and improvements, therefore needing the relevant skills and experience to fulfil this responsibility.

They will play an important role in the delivery, continuous improvement and support of high-quality IT and AV services across the Gardens & Museums and have responsibility for the maintenance, administration and support of a number of core services, either directly or in coordination with other members of the team.

And as a member of the Gardens & Museums IT Team, you will assist in the provision of excellent customer service and IT support across the Gardens & Museums – troubleshooting user problems and, where appropriate installing and upgrading IT equipment.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week onsite.
