Hawkwell House Hotel hosting charity gala
Iffley-based boutique hotel Mercure Hawkwell House is hosting a glittering 1920’s themed New Year’s Eve party in support of local charities.
Guests will be treated to a glamorous jazz age-inspired party, with a DJ, an exclusive four-course dinner with Champagne.
The proceeds from the event will be shared between Oxfordshire based charities Sobell House Hospice, SeeSaw and Be Free Young Carers. People attending the event are encouraged to dress in vintage attire for the evening in the style of the Great Gatsby.
Sobell House provides palliative and end of life care, See Saw, grief support to youngsters and Be Free Young Carers supports young carers.
Isabela Dumbrava, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hawkwell House Hotel, said: “We’re proud to be putting fundraising for three incredible good causes at the heart of our New Year’s Eve celebration.
“These charities do so much good in Oxfordshire, and it’s a privilege to support them. The night promises to be fantastic fun and a great opportunity to dress up and see in 2025 in style. We’re looking forward to celebrating with our guests.”
Hannah Waugh, Fundraising Coordinator at Be Free Young Carers, said: “Be Free Young Carers is incredibly grateful to be supported by Hawkwell House at the New Year’s Eve Charity Gala.
