Show more Our speakers are leaders in their respective fields, and will share their unique perspectives on issues both topical and timeless. By providing a platform for sharing ideas worth spreading, we are excited to ignite curiosity, inspire action, and spark conversations that resonates far beyond our conference. Some of this year’s speakers include:
– David Mott: co-founder of Oxford Capital and elite modern pentathlon coach, with a passion for exploring the intersections between entrepreneurship and sport.
– Freshta Karim: founder of Charmaghz, a Kabul-based NGO dedicated to promoting children’s education in Afghanistan, which has reached over 500,000 children since 2017.
– Professor Charlotte Deane MBE: leader of Oxford Protein Informatics Group, working to solve diverse problems in fields such as drug discovery, using cutting-edge statistics, AI, and computation.
TED believe that every ‘what if’ has the power to shape our world, and that behind every dream is a dreamer with a story to tell. TEDxOxford will inspire us to embrace curiosity and explore the possibilities that lie just beyond the horizon.
