Spring Festival
Wed 20 Nov, 10:00 - 13:00
Earth Trust Farm, Earth Trust Centre, Little Wittenham, Abingdon
Seasonal farmyard fun for the whole family!
Show more Join the Earth Trust down on the farm as they celebrate the joys of spring, with newborn lambs frolicking in the fields and a whole farmyard of fun activities to explore.
Meet the farm animals – cows, goats and sheep – and learn about their role in healthy, nature-filled farmland. Take a bumpy ride on the tractor trailer, have a go at welly-wanging, or climb the giant hay bales.
‘Bee’ amazed by the Oxfordshire Beekeepers’ Association as they showcase the vital work of pollinators on the farm, with hive demonstrations, beeswax candle-making and honey-tasting activities.
This event is part of the Earth Trust’s Spring to Life Season, celebrating the circle of life by noticing and nurturing nature around us. It’s a fantastic opportunity to spend some time in nature, and find out more about nature-friendly farming. (If the time is right, you might even see a lamb being born!).
What’s more, by coming along to the festival weekends, you’ll be helping to support the Earth Trust’s important work in championing accessible natural green spaces for everyone. (This event is an important date in their charity fundraising calendar).
