Join for a festive calligraphy workshop for beginners. Designed for small groups, this setting allows for one-on-one time with you and expert calligrapher, Su, to ensure you feel confident in your calligraphy.

Su will begin by teaching the basics, including how to use the dip pen and nib along with simple stroke exercises. You will then apply these techniques as you work your way through the alphabet to create letterforms, join letters and create complete words.

In the second part of the workshop, choose from one of four festive projects to apply your newfound skills to. Projects include a list for Santa, place cards, gift tags or a festive print. To personalise your creation, an assortment of embellishments will be provided.

This experience will be held at the Chef’s Table, with welcome drinks hosted in The Snug. All materials are provided including a starter kit, nib, nib holder and ink, which you will take home with you at the end of the workshop to continue your calligraphy practice.
