Discover Coleshill’s hidden Second World War history on this informative guided walk through village, woods and parkland at the home of the British Resistance.

Coleshill House was the hush-hush headquarters of Churchill’s secret army, or the Auxiliers. Discover the detailed history of their training and visit some of the remaining Second World War features around the village, including the Guard House. Plus, check out our newly built and refurbished replica “funk hole”.

Guided Second World War Walks take place on 22 April, 11am-1pm; 11 May, 11.30am-1.30pm; 27 June, 6pm-8pm; 27 July, 11am-1pm; 24 September, 2-4pm; 18 October, 11am-1pm; and 11 November, 2pm-4pm.
