Oxford naturally lends itself as a stunning backdrop for the movie and TV screen and reflects why VisitBritain latest promotion campaign is called “Starring Great Britain”.

The city has been the host of over 40 movies and 7 TV series, and is synonymous with 102 episodes of Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour.  The city and its historical university naturally lend itself as the inspiration and backdrop for many stories on screen.
