Ever wondered what it would be like to perform on stage? Do you love to sing, act and play games together? Join Oxford Opera at MOX for a magical musical journey and experience the awesome world of opera for yourself!

Families are invited to travel through the stories which music and opera tell. The workshop will gently introduce children to the idea of storytelling through music and help them to discover and explore their own imaginations and creativity. The session will be led by Oxford Opera’s Education Manager, Catie Simpson, and will involve drama and musical games as well some creative arts and crafts.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 to 8, but older ages are welcome. Each child ticket includes free entry for a parent or carer. Accompanying adults must stay with their children for the duration of the event.

There are 3 sessions available, each workshop will last 60 minutes: 10.15-11.15, 11.30-12.30 and 14.00-15.00
