Creating better homes by creating better places – the Create Streets Approach
Creating better homes by creating better places – the Create Streets Approach
Wed 13 Nov, 17:30 - 18:30
The Community Works, 21 Park End St, Oxford
What? This talk, hosted by Oxfordshire Community Land Trust, will focus on how we can create the homes we need by adopting a place-based approach. Hear about how attending to the balance and beauty of places, and taking community engagement seriously, can create healthier, more prosperous and more sustainable places for us all – and in doing so help address the housing crisis. And hear more about the influential concept of ‘gentle density’, which Create Streets has pioneered in the UK, taking it to the heart of government and national planning policy.
