Banbury’s last Armed Forces Day in 2024 was so popular that we decided that it needed a new home, and what better place than the wide open spaces of Banbury’s Spiceball Park!

With a military parade, multiple stands representing different regiments, and a host of activities, Armed Forces Day is a true celebration of troops past and present. It’s an ideal opportunity for Banbury residents to meet serving members of the British armed forces as well as enjoy a great day out with plenty to see and do.

What to Expect:
– Spectacular military parade – from a marching band to veterans and multiple vehicles, enjoy Banbury’s very own military parade featuring participants from far and wide!

– Something for the whole family – kids will be fascinated by the real life military vehicles, and there’ll be plenty for anyone with a keen interest in British and military history. All of this plus rides, amusements and more!

– Food, drink, and music – like other Banbury Town Council events, Armed Forces Day is free to enter and enjoy, making it a fantastic opportunity to get to know the town and all that makes it such a great place to be!
