There are few better places to celebrate the arrival of spring than Waterperry Gardens in Oxfordshire, where the historic ornamental gardens provide the perfect setting for the Galanthus. These wonderful little heralds of spring carpet the old orchard and riverside walks at this time of the year, and winter aconites are also likely to bring a smile to visitors’ faces, providing new hints of colour in the garden (normal garden entrance fee applies).

Waterperry boasts beautiful displays of double and single-flowered snowdrops all around the 20 acres of gardens and is the perfect excuse for a walk in the gardens followed by a visit to the Teashop to warm up – a lovely way to spend time with friends and family.
