Join The Randolph Hotel for a festive calligraphy workshop for beginners. Designed for small groups, this setting allows for one-on-one time with you and an expert calligrapher, Su, to ensure you feel confident in your calligraphy.

Su will begin by teaching the basics, including how to use the dip pen and nib along with simple stroke exercises. You will then apply these techniques as you work your way through the alphabet to create letterforms, join letters and create complete words.

In the second part of the workshop, choose from one of four festive projects to apply your newfound skills to. Projects include a list for Santa, place cards, gift tags or a festive print. To personalise your creation, an assortment of embellishments will be provided.

This experience will be held at the hotel’s Chef’s Table, with welcome drinks hosted in The Snug. All materials are provided. If you wish to take your calligraphy kit home with you which includes a starter kit, nib, nib holder and ink, please book “with kit”.
