Nature-based play for little explorers this May Half Term

Little Acorns sessions run every school holiday and feature a variety of seasonal activities for children to discover, inspired by the natural world.

These are child-led experiences, so tutors support and guide children, but do not direct them, to allow each child to lead their own learning while developing their curiosity for nature.

Develop your little one’s curiosity with the magic of nature!

In the setting of the beautiful Earth Lab gardens, this half term holiday your Little Acorns will be creating a magic nature wand, decorated with found materials from around the beds and hedges, using imagination and play to connect with nature on a mindful scavenger hunt.

There’ll be a mud kitchen, a place to create their own herbal potions, as well as getting their hands in the soil and helping water the Kitchen Garden.

The event will finish gathered around the firepit for stories and toasted marshmallows.
