Hop on over to Blenheim Palace for an Easter Egg-stravaganza like no other
From 29th March to 1st April, Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace has announced a jam-packed line-up of egg-citing events and activities for the whole family to enjoy over Easter.
Come rain or shine, Blenheim Palace guarantees a perfect family day out during the Easter weekend, not to mention a chance to spot the Easter Bunny making an appearance alongside a variety of specially introduced Easter activities such as:
- Egg Trail
- Circus Skills Workshops
- Fairground Rides
- Dress up tent
- Mini Golf
- Have a Go Archery
- Face Painting
- Balloon Modelling
- Bubble Performance
- Travelling Vintage Variety Show
To add to the Easter Egg-stravaganza, Blenheim Palace has partnered up with the luxury cacao growers and chocolatiers, Hotel Chocolat, for the giant wicker Easter Egg Hunt experience. Parents can keep their little hoppers busy as they become egg-finding eggs-perts answering the Easter-themed questions scattered across the Blenheim Palace grounds, finishing with a well-deserved prize a Hotel Chocolat Easter Bunny.
In addition to this, Hotel Chocolat will have its famous ‘Chocmobile’ available on site from 29th March to 12th April serving iconic Velvetised™ drinking chocolates where guests can select from four hot chocolate flavours and gradients as well as various coffees and teas. Plus, its award-winning Jersey milk cacao nib infused ‘Ice Cream of the Gods’, served in a tub or cone with a sauce and milk chocolate shard.
From 29th March to 14th April, families can also take part in the immersive How to Train Your Dragon trail in collaboration with the beloved book series by well-known children’s author Cressida Cowell, which will be ongoing at Adventure Play.
Adventure Play is the biggest family-themed attraction in the Palace’s history and has been carefully designed and created to ensure children of all abilities from the ages of 2-12 are able to explore and enjoy the extensive play area. Covering a site larger than a football pitch, it celebrates the rich heritage of the 18th century baroque Palace, inspired by real-life features including the lakeside Boat House and Hensington Gateway.
