Take your child on an exotic journey to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, where over 250 species of animals can be seen and a giant adventure playground awaits explorers. Closeby is Crocodiles of the World, where you can see different crocodile species and learn all about them – you can even become a keeper for a day! For younger children, Millets FarmCogges and Fairytale Farm are perfect, with a range of farm animals and plenty of activities. Fairytale Farm is also fully accessible and specially designed with disabilities and special needs in mind.

At Blenheim Palace, a huge yew maze and butterfly house keep children entertained. A number of Museums throughout the county are great for children: The Story Museum celebrates stories and brings them alive in wonderful immersive exhibits, the River and Rowing Museum  has a great exhibition about Wind in the Willows, at Didcot Railway Centre, historic locomotives and on special dates even Thomas the Tank Engine can be admired, the Roald Dahl museum displays the life of the famous children book author. Oxford Castle Unlocked brings the past to life with costumed characters, and Bill Spectre tells about Oxford’s dark secrets in one of the world’s top Ghost Tours.
