St Michael at the North Gate - Saxon Tower
Climb Oxford's oldest building and view the historic treasury.
The Tower is nearly 1000 years old, built by the Saxons between 1010A.D to 1040A.D.
The east window contains panels of 13th Century stained glass and the treasury contains many historic exhibits including the 11th Century Sheela-na-gig, a rare image to see from Saxon History, a copy of the Geneva Bible dated 1608 and a 19th century clock mechanism.
The tower is open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm Sun 12pm-5pm.
When you have printed your ticket, please check all details carefully as we may not be able to rectify any errors if we are not notified of them prior to the event.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or cancelled after purchase unless the event is cancelled, materially altered or rescheduled. In these circumstances, refunds or exchanges will only be made to the face value of the original ticket.
No entry to the event will be permitted without a valid ticket.
St Michael reserves the right to refuse entry to the event.
Visit Oxfordshire or St Michael will not be liable for any ticket that has been lost or stolen after it has been printed by the customer.
