The Story Museum
Come to The Story Museum and explore our story-filled spaces. Visit our current exhibition 'Draw me a story' showing how picture books are made from first ideas to final print, featuring work by Quentin Blake, Emily Gravett, Mini Grey, Yasmeen Ismail, Korky Paul and Nick Sharratt.
Or put on a dressing gown, pick a story and explore our immersive 'Time for bed' space, complete with giant story bed. We've got a room full of dressing up costumes, complete with talking throne, an extreme reading space offering strange and unusual ways of enjoying stories and a giant story-games area.

We also co-ordinate Alice's Day, a city-wide celebration of Alice in Wonderland. 2014's theme is 'underground': fall down the rabbit hole and for an adventure packed with mad tea parties, exhibitions, storytelling, music and Alice activities. Frabjus fun at historic locations – most events are free! Come on down and dress up on Saturday 4 July, 2015.
