Didcot Railway Centre will host a selection of main line diesel locomotives,

Our own diesels - 08604, and GWR diesel railcar No. 22 will also feature.
• Line-ups in front of the shed
• Different locomotives on the main demonstration line each day
• Access to some locomotive cabs
• Black Python Real Ale Bar open
During the event the signalling should be in operation on the branch demonstration line, and a miniature diesel railway will be in operation.

  • The steps leading to our entrance limit access to the Centre & we ask visitors to contact us in advance of their visit to discuss access needs. It is not always possible to make all parts and vehicles as accessible as we would like and our aim is to provide as much access as possible. While visitors with disabilities pay the normal admission charge, their necessary companion is admitted free. We have designed a ramp and are exploring funding options.
